Akhil Bharatiya Adhivakta Parishad (ABAP), a registered society under the Societies Act , 1860 , having motto of ‘न्याय: मम धर्म:’ is working all over the country , since it’s inception in the year 1992 , towards the object of resurrecting Bharatiya values and ingraining idealism in the hearts of advocates for improving efficacy and standards of the Bar and the Judiciary of the country.
At Organization level each High Court of the country is considered to be a unit, which are taking endeavor to have unit at each district of the respective state. At present the 24 State Units are affiliated to the ABAP.
The ABAP at the national level holds every year it’s National Executive and National Council Meeting and National Conference every three years. It also holds regular study circle, seminars , workshops and educational programme for advocates through out the country in addition to various programmes undertaken at State and District level , with the objective of making advocates to be better equipped in their profession and to be better able to serve the cause of justice and to work constantly for the improvement and evolution of a judicial system which is in harmony with the genius of the Nation and in consonance with Bharatiya traditions , values and sense of justice and to make justice delivery system more and more efficient. The ABAP is also associated with prominent PIL such as Preservation of Ramsetu, Challenging reservation on the basis of religion, challenging reservation to Dalit Christian, for improving the condition of SC/ST hostels etc at High Court as well as at Supreme Court level.
The ABAP is continuously publishing for the last six years it’s quarterly bilingual publication “Nyayapravah”., which has a circulation of 1500 copies throughout country . It intends to create an atmosphere of legal awareness along with manifesting an essence of justice, a must for nation to tread successfully in the direction of prosperity and integrity and, a glimpse of activities of the organization .
The ABAP has privilege of association of some of India’s most prominent legal which include Justice Rama Jois , Sri U.R. Lalit , Senior Advocate , Uttam Chand Israni , Senior Advocate, Justice Parvata Rao and many more.
